Sichuan Shuiluohe Electric Power Development Company Satellite Communication System

Sichuan Liangshan Shuiluo River Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of China Huadian Corporation. It is mainly responsible for the hydropower development, construction and operation management of the main stream of Shuiluo River in Muli County, Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan Province. The Shuiluo River Basin plans to build 11 cascade power stations with a total installed capacity of 1488MW. At present, Ninglang and Sado power stations have been fully put into operation to generate electricity, and other power stations are under construction.

In June 2015, our company built a set of Spacebroad VSAT satellite communication system independently developed by Andy Technology for Shuiluohe Electric Power Development Co., Ltd. for production scheduling data transmission. The system adopts a star communication network structure to realize a single-hop satellite link between the master station and each remote station.

After the production dispatching satellite emergency system is completed, the data of the computer monitoring system will be backed up and transmitted through the satellite system for a long time; the internal emergency telephone network and the telephone network interconnected with the public network will be established between the Chengdu centralized control center and the subordinate terminal stations through the satellite system. The satellite system played an important role in several times when the ground optical fiber transmission line failed, ensuring the timely upload of power station information and the unified dispatch of the centralized control center. In the daily production and operation, it also contributes to the unmanned duty of each power station.
